Victor — One True King (Red Arcana) The One True King returns in Deadlock. Replaces Victor with the red One True King arcana from Dota 2, paired with a custom relic pistol built around the original Blood Shard. Included Red One True King model and materials adapted to Victor. Blood Shard relic pistol with dark metal, bronze details and a burgundy grip. Cape physics, eye and crown effects, and embers. Original arcana reincarnation audio, including the guitar riff, attached to Victor's revival event. Adjusted hero-selection framing. Hero and ability icons remain unchanged. Version 1.0 First public release. Game updates may require compatibility updates. If you find an issue, leave a comment with the game build, other enabled Victor mods, the affected action, and a screenshot or short video. Compatibility

Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same Victor asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.

Is it safe

It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.

How do I install Victor — One True King (Red Arcana)?▾
Two ways. With Deadlock Mod Manager, use the Mod Manager button on this page and it downloads and places the file for you. By hand, put the .vpk into game/citadel/addons and name it pak01_dir.vpk. That folder only loads once gameinfo.gi lists it, which is a one-time edit — check the install guide.
Is Victor — One True King (Red Arcana) safe to install?▾
A .vpk is a data archive, not a program, so it cannot execute code the way an installer can. The risk is provenance. This one has 2 installs, so a problem would have surfaced on its GameBanana thread. Mods with almost no downloads from accounts with no history have had none of that scrutiny.
Will other players see this skin?▾
No. Deadlock loads mods client-side, so the file only changes what you render. Everyone else sees the default game, in every mode including ranked.
Can I run it alongside other mods?▾
Yes, as long as they change different things — a skin and a HUD work together fine. Two skins for the same hero do not: only one can be applied, and Deadlock picks the lower-numbered file. With pak01_dir.vpk and pak02_dir.vpk installed, pak01 wins and the other does nothing.

A Deadlock patch can overwrite gameinfo.gi and remove your search paths, which stops every manually installed mod at once — redo that edit and they come back. Separately, model replacements break first when Valve edits a skeleton; recolours and HUD mods usually survive. The author posts updates on the GameBanana page.
