Mal0 Billy — Billy skins for Deadlock
An instance of SCP-1471-A has manifested! This is a small departure from my usual mods but I was commissioned this by SydneyAloe, so huge thanks to them! This mod replaces Billy with SCP-1471-A (Mal0). Model credit goes to Zoidrawz , many thanks to them as well! Support Zoidrawz on their Patreon ! Compatibility
Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same Billy asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.
Is it safe
It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.

.vpk is a data archive, not a program, so it cannot execute code the way an installer can. The risk is provenance. This one has 13,557 installs, so a problem would have surfaced on its GameBanana thread. gameinfo.gi and remove your search paths, which stops every manually installed mod at once — redo that edit and they come back. Separately, model replacements break first when Valve edits a skeleton; recolours and HUD mods usually survive. The author posts updates on the GameBanana page.Where does the download come from?▾▴
How do I remove Mal0 Billy?▾▴
.vpk from game/citadel/addons, or toggle it off in the Deadlock Mod Manager library. Mods never overwrite game files, so nothing needs repairing afterwards.
