Billy Punk & Black Metal Patches — Billy skins for Deadlock
Update The mod has grown a lot since the first release! Besides the custom patches, it now includes a custom punk jacket and custom pants to give Billy a more complete punk look. The mod is still a work in progress, so if you look really closely, you might notice a few small imperfections on Billy's clothes. They're barely noticeable during normal gameplay, but I know they're there. I'm already working on the next update, which will clean up the jacket and pants and make everything look much better. Thanks to everyone who's downloading the mod and sharing feedback. More updates are coming soon!
Compatibility
Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same Billy asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.
Is it safe
It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.
