The Roaring Knight (Yamato) — Yamato skins for Deadlock
The Roaring Knight slashes it's way (once again) into the Cursed Apple! This mod is a full featured replacement for Yamato featuring everything you can think of! Full Model Replacement Custom Particles Custom UI elements Custom Roster and Shop pose (Optional) Custom sounds MOD CREDITS Knight Model - DotFlare Original Knight Mod - DexFlip Name SVG - MARABITEZ This is my first ever mod for Deadlock so please let me know if you encounter any bugs or problems! Feedback is also greatly appreciated as I wish to make any future mod of mine as good as it can be!
Compatibility
Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same Yamato asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.
Is it safe
It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.

Frequently asked questions
How do I install The Roaring Knight (Yamato)?▾▴
.vpk into game/citadel/addons and name it pak01_dir.vpk. That folder only loads once gameinfo.gi lists it, which is a one-time edit — check the install guide. Is The Roaring Knight (Yamato) safe to install?▾▴
.vpk is a data archive, not a program, so it cannot execute code the way an installer can. The risk is provenance. This one has 7,169 installs, so a problem would have surfaced on its GameBanana thread. Mods with almost no downloads from accounts with no history have had none of that scrutiny. Will other players see this skin?▾▴
Can I run it alongside other mods?▾▴
pak01_dir.vpk and pak02_dir.vpk installed, pak01 wins and the other does nothing.Does it still work after the latest patch?▾▴
gameinfo.gi and remove your search paths, which stops every manually installed mod at once — redo that edit and they come back. Separately, model replacements break first when Valve edits a skeleton; recolours and HUD mods usually survive. The author posts updates on the GameBanana page.Where does the download come from?▾▴
How do I remove The Roaring Knight (Yamato)?▾▴
.vpk from game/citadel/addons, or toggle it off in the Deadlock Mod Manager library. Mods never overwrite game files, so nothing needs repairing afterwards.
