INSTALLATION. Deadlock Mod Manager: 1. Import the archive as a local mod or use Analyze Local Addons. 2. Enable both VPK files. 3. Restart Deadlock. Manual: Copy pak01_dir.vpk and pak02_dir.vpk to: Deadlock/game/citadel/addons/. Use only in local or custom matches.

Compatibility

Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.

Is it safe

It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.
