Suisei is Sinclair (EVERYTHING, except VO) — Sinclair skins for Deadlock

A diamond in the rough who burst onto the scene like a comet! I’m virtual idol Hoshimachi Suisei! Doesn't include VO, I'd recommend using Manos' "Daitaku Helios as Sinclair" VO to make up for it. (or else this mod will sound out of place). Didn't apply different sounds to all other abilites but maybe I'll get to that. Recolored ALL abilities to be Suisei themed. Changed Sinclair's character select to be Suisei themed. Sakura Miko as Spectral Assistant because MiComet. After stealing Ultimate = TRUE GIRL SHOW. Ultimate Selection = Hi Honey. Ultimate Selecting Loop = Talalala. Default Ultimate used music = Stellar Stellar. alternate 2 = Newton. alternate 3 = Sui-chan's Maintenance Song (Super Duper Mega Sigma Necessary). credits to Phanaelopsis for the model

Compatibility

Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same Sinclair asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.

Is it safe

It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.

Two ways. With Deadlock Mod Manager, use the Mod Manager button on this page and it downloads and places the file for you. By hand, put the .vpk into game/citadel/addons and name it pak01_dir.vpk. That folder only loads once gameinfo.gi lists it, which is a one-time edit — check the install guide.

No. Deadlock loads mods client-side, so the file only changes what you render. Everyone else sees the default game, in every mode including ranked.

Yes, as long as they change different things — a skin and a HUD work together fine. Two skins for the same hero do not: only one can be applied, and Deadlock picks the lower-numbered file. With pak01_dir.vpk and pak02_dir.vpk installed, pak01 wins and the other does nothing.

A Deadlock patch can overwrite gameinfo.gi and remove your search paths, which stops every manually installed mod at once — redo that edit and they come back. Separately, model replacements break first when Valve edits a skeleton; recolours and HUD mods usually survive. The author posts updates on the GameBanana page.
