Smo's Anime Portraits - Calico — hud for Deadlock

This is my anime moe portrait redraw mod for Deadlock heroes! Right now I only have Calico done with Mina, Viscous, and Vyper on the way. My goal is the full cast of heroes :D. I'm not sure how to apply the mod other than through the Deadlock Mod Manager, so i guess install the zip how you would other character hud icons??? sorry..;; I made this mod with Deadlock Texture Forge to apply my art to the HUD icons. This is my own art HAND-DRAWN in an anime style. Please do not edit my art or reclaim it as your own.

Compatibility

Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.

Is it safe

It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.

A Deadlock patch can overwrite gameinfo.gi and remove your search paths, which stops every manually installed mod at once — redo that edit and they come back.
