[RECOLOR] Pink Paige + Pink VFX! — Paige skins for Deadlock
This is my first mod on Deadlock! Features: All skill vfx changed to pink hair recolored to blonde clothing recolored to a pink/white theme books recolored to match the pink theme (except her ult books, I could've changed them to be pink but the editing method I used affected the actual page colors as well, so I opted to leave them alone. VIDEO SHOWCASE Credits to: - winterhexed for their lovebitten paige mod. I was able to reference their files to see which files needed modding, especially for her skill vfx! - esocidae for inspiring me with their light blue and white version of the outfit! I also referenced their files to see which files needed modding DISCLAIMER: - The skill VFX are not properly optimized (I didn't delete the files that I didn't edit... simply because there was just so many vfx files and I lost count of what was and what wasn't edited. - The Pink outfit IS optimized and fully decluttered of unnecessary files. - This is my first ever mod; i'm only posting because a lot of people expressed interest! It's definitely not the best mod out there, but I worked pretty hard on it so please be nice.
Compatibility
Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same Paige asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.
Is it safe
It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.
