(OUTDATED) Minified Shop HUD Base style — hud for Deadlock

Removes the redundant shop tabs, hides the hero on the left, removes the background blur and color, and changes the sizing settings of the shop as well as the opacity to take up less screen space and block your vision less. Only comes with CSS styles and can be extended further with themes, custom background images, category colors (but these are all for the future and currently require heavier edits to the shop UI) This shop edit comes from the base of OpenLock's shop styles. NOTE: There is a bug with opening the search tab while moving. This is simply part of Deadlock and I can't fix it.

Compatibility

Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.

Is it safe

It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.

Two ways. With Deadlock Mod Manager, use the Mod Manager button on this page and it downloads and places the file for you. By hand, put the .vpk into game/citadel/addons and name it pak01_dir.vpk. That folder only loads once gameinfo.gi lists it, which is a one-time edit — check the install guide.

A Deadlock patch can overwrite gameinfo.gi and remove your search paths, which stops every manually installed mod at once — redo that edit and they come back.
