OSRS Ice Queen (Celeste Skin) — Celeste skins for Deadlock

Replaces Celeste's model with the Ice Queen from Old School RuneScape. What it changes: - Celeste's in-game model. - Her hero portraits (hero select, scoreboard and low health). - Removes her horn glow and baton fire effects. It only changes how Celeste looks. Nothing about gameplay is changed. Install: - Mod manager: install it, enable it and launch in modded mode. - Manual: put pak01_dir.vpk in Deadlock/game/citadel/addons. Rename it to a free pakXX_dir.vpk if you already have a pak01_dir.vpk. gameinfo.gi needs "Game citadel/addons" in its search paths. Uninstall: delete the vpk. Known issues: - Made by hand with unofficial tools, so the arms and hands can look slightly off in some animations. - Hitboxes follow the original Celeste model. - A Deadlock update can break it. If that happens, wait for an updated version. - Game updates reset gameinfo.gi. If she turns back to normal, relaunch in modded mode. Credits: the Ice Queen model belongs to Jagex Ltd. This is an unofficial fan mod and is not affiliated with Jagex or Valve.

Compatibility

Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same Celeste asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.

Is it safe

It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.
