Nightmare Freddy — Drifter skins for Deadlock
Full replacement of Drifter with spooky bear Freddy. Model, icons, some sfx, and all voice lines have been replaced. The original voice was processed using pitch shift, chorus, short delay, distortion, bitcrusher, and EQ. The ult sound (for enemies) was replaced with Freddy's music box. If you're the one playing, there's a 1/10 chance to hear the music box when activating the ult, just like how the original had a 1/10 chance to play a whistle. Ult activation sound was replaced with the power outage sound. Ult ambience replaced with FNAF ambience and Freddy's laugh in the background. Teleporting to the mark (2nd spell) now plays the hallway ambient sound.
Compatibility
Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same Drifter asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.
Is it safe
It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.
