Neon Prime Spectre Mod(PROOF OF CONCEPT) — Lady Geist skins for Deadlock
This is a proof of concept showing that custom animations and skeletons are now possible for Deadlock mods. The result is not perfect — the model may T-pose from time to time, and animations can break because they don’t share the same FPS, duration, frame counts, or aim matrices, which are currently impossible to match. This mod is mainly intended to showcase the Neon Prime version of Geist in Deadlock using the current Deadlock shaders and gameplay. You can try playing with the mod in a regular match, but this is very important: the model scale is smaller than Geist’s, and the animations do not match Geist’s hitboxes. If another player is using Geist, animations may behave strangely or speed up. Play in matchmaking at your own risk. Best use scenario is to play bot matches
Compatibility
Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same Lady Geist asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.
Is it safe
It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.
