This mod includes a Custom Model, Sounds and Particles Contact me on Discord: @kellermax Install Instructions: 1) Download the archive and unpzip the .VPK file into "Deadlock\game\citadel\addons" (Create Addons folder if it doesn't exist) 2) If you are having a file name conflict, then just change the numbers on the .vpk (any number from 01 to 99) 3) ((Only if you haven't done it previously)). Open deadlock/game/citadel/gameinfo.gi in txt editor (DON'T FORGET TO BACKUP IT) Find "SearchPaths" in the file and replace: { Game citadel Game core } With: { Mod citadel Write citadel Game citadel/addons Game citadel Game core } You only need to do the last step once. But big Deadlock updates usually overwrite this file, so you will have to redo this process again.
Compatibility
Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same Grey Talon asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.
Is it safe
It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.
