Midnight Horologist — Paradox skin. Paradox dressed for a night out: a deep midnight-navy coat whose hem dissolves into a field of golden stars, antique-gold lining and trim, a polished gold hourglass on her back, a brass carbine, and a midnight-blue glass helmet with a rich gold hourglass inside. FEATURES. - Navy coat with a hand-designed starfall hem (about 14,000 stars, with small constellations and glints). - Antique-gold lining, cuffs, cravat and lapel rose. - Gilded back hourglass with amber sand and a soft glow. - Brushed brass carbine. - Midnight-blue glossy helmet glass with a gold hourglass. - Texture-only: Paradox's original model, animations and physics are untouched. INSTALLATION. 1. Download and unzip the file. 2. Put pak12_dir.vpk into: Steam\steamapps\common\Deadlock\game\citadel\addons. 3. If you already have a pak12_dir.vpk from another mod, rename this one to an unused number (for example pak45_dir.vpk). 4. Make sure mods are enabled in gameinfo.gi (Deadlock Mod Manager does this for you). 5. Launch the game. UNINSTALL. Delete the .vpk file from the addons folder. NOTES. - Client-side only: other players see the default Paradox. - Paradox's coat can clip into the floor or her arm when crouching or raising her arm. Compatibility

Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same Paradox asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.

Is it safe

It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.

Two ways. With Deadlock Mod Manager, use the Mod Manager button on this page and it downloads and places the file for you. By hand, put the .vpk into game/citadel/addons and name it pak01_dir.vpk. That folder only loads once gameinfo.gi lists it, which is a one-time edit — check the install guide.
Is Midnight Horologist safe to install?▾
