Kiana Kaslana (GGZ) - Haze — Haze skins for Deadlock

Replaces Haze with Wings of Awakening Kiana from GGZ (for the 2 GGZ fans)! This mod includes: Model Voice lines VFX (optional, MAY CAUSE LAG DEPENDING ON DEVICE) Hero select / Shop poses CREDITS: Base model by 玉花了了 (https://www.aplaybox.com/details/model/rodnoqFqtUvv) Back hair and lower body by HoYo (March and Silver Wolf lol) Gun model, shirt, jacket, general editing and recoloring by me Voice lines from GGZ and HI3rd There is the main download with everything, one without particles (for if it lags too much during ult), and one with just voice lines (cough cough if there... hypothetically of course... was another kiana mod that didn't have voice lines... cough) Known issues: Jacket doesn't collide with the body (I set it up, idk why it doesn't work :|) The inner color of the jacket is visible during invis from enemy POV when you are facing towards them. I can fix it, it'd just make the jacket look worse (self clipping). I've played against a few hazes and didn't think it was much of an issue, but please comment if this becomes a big issue, and I will fix it. (In the meantime, if you notice an invis haze because of this, please turn a blind eye)

Compatibility

Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same Haze asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.

Is it safe

It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.

Two ways. With Deadlock Mod Manager, use the Mod Manager button on this page and it downloads and places the file for you. By hand, put the .vpk into game/citadel/addons and name it pak01_dir.vpk. That folder only loads once gameinfo.gi lists it, which is a one-time edit — check the install guide.
Is Kiana Kaslana (GGZ) - Haze safe to install?▾

Will other players see this skin?▾
No. Deadlock loads mods client-side, so the file only changes what you render. Everyone else sees the default game, in every mode including ranked.

Yes, as long as they change different things — a skin and a HUD work together fine. Two skins for the same hero do not: only one can be applied, and Deadlock picks the lower-numbered file. With pak01_dir.vpk and pak02_dir.vpk installed, pak01 wins and the other does nothing.
Does it still work after the latest patch?▾
A Deadlock patch can overwrite gameinfo.gi and remove your search paths, which stops every manually installed mod at once — redo that edit and they come back. Separately, model replacements break first when Valve edits a skeleton; recolours and HUD mods usually survive. The author posts updates on the GameBanana page.
