Then open the gameinfo.gi 2. In gameinfo.gi, paste following text under SearchPath { Game citadel/addons Mod citadel Write citadel Game citadel Mod core Write core Game core } 3. Save and close. Go to the 'addons' folder (or create a new folder with said name if not already there) and drag the .vpk file in here. 4. Rename so that the file only says "pak##_dir.vpk" (## should be replaced with whatever number between 01-99 is available and won't conflict with other mods). 4. Launch game and enjoy :3
Compatibility
Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same Ivy asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.
Is it safe
It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.
