Hwei Full Replacement for Violet — Violet skins for Deadlock

Before someone comes at me in the comments I DO NOT HATE VIOLET. Mod Completion: Full VO Replacement - 80% Completion. * Shockingly, nearly 2000 voicelines take a while to replace. The rest of the untouched lines are some 900+ ping callouts. I won't be touching the conversation VOs either. Skin Lineup - 2/4 Skins completed. * Winterbless & Sinful Shores to be added. Full replaces Violet with the mid lane painter Hwei from League of Legends! Violets animations fit shockingly well with Hwei's model, and Hwei is one of my favs so I had to bring him over when I saw Violet.

Compatibility

Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same Violet asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.

Is it safe

It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.

Two ways. With Deadlock Mod Manager, use the Mod Manager button on this page and it downloads and places the file for you. By hand, put the .vpk into game/citadel/addons and name it pak01_dir.vpk. That folder only loads once gameinfo.gi lists it, which is a one-time edit — check the install guide.
Is Hwei Full Replacement for Violet safe to install?▾

A Deadlock patch can overwrite gameinfo.gi and remove your search paths, which stops every manually installed mod at once — redo that edit and they come back.
