Helldiver over Venator — Venator skins for Deadlock
(MOD IS NOT FULLY COMPLETED BUT AT A POINT I THINK IS RELEASABLE) Venator lost faith in the vatican and thus has joined Super Earth in their conquest for Liberty, Freedom, and Democracy. Equipped with Incidiary Grenades, the Liberator Penetrator, Bushwacker, Anti-Material Rifle, and the One True Flag, he is here to dispense Liberty, Freedom, and Democracy. Replaces Venator's model, (most) voicelines, (most) sfx, and (most) ui elements. - The trap model is not changed as I could not find any suitable replacements for model and voicelines. - Some of the voicelines are still using Venator's as I think they are vital to the game in terms of information and/or I could not find a suitable replacement. I am not fully done as there are some clipping bits on the model, some volume balancing, more voicelines that could be added, the fact that the ult reloads with the flag, and some other small changes that I want to make still but I think the mod is in a releasable state.
Compatibility
Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same Venator asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.
Is it safe
It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.

gameinfo.gi and remove your search paths, which stops every manually installed mod at once — redo that edit and they come back. How do I remove Helldiver over Venator?▾▴
.vpk from game/citadel/addons, or toggle it off in the Deadlock Mod Manager library. Mods never overwrite game files, so nothing needs repairing afterwards.
