Hello ladies and gentlemen, I created my first mod, so don't judge me harshly. The mod changes the icon of the vindicta ulta and changes the sound of the shot to the track OTPUSTI MENYA - Serebro. The YouTuber helped a lot, so I want to leave a link to it and tell you that anyone can start making mods. Compatibility

Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.

Is it safe

It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.
