FULLY VOICED, PORTRAIT ICONS REPLACED, CUSTOM VMAP, LOADS OF DEAD ORCS. When the rifts finally collapsed, most warmages would have taken a well-deserved vacation. Maximilian, however, barely had time to admire his own reflection in his freshly polished armor before the realm decided it wasn’t done with him. A rogue rift—triggered by a far-off cosmic anomaly the locals call the Maelstrom—opened directly beneath the Order's most dashing warmage, swallowing him whole and spitting him out into the rain-slicked, soot-choked streets of 1930s New York. It didn't take long for Max to properly, and swiftly, assess the situation. Glowing leylines? Check. Ancient, shadowy Patrons fighting for control? Check. A citywide brawl where the victors get a single wish granted? Imagine the amount of hot babes he could wish for! Without magic, it'll be hard for him overpower his enemies. But with some serious gear, a ton of traps, and a shit eating grin, the War Mage is ready to steal the show. --- This mod fully replaces Venators model with that of Maximilian the warmage. Icons, particles, and ~1000 were replaced in the creation of this mod. AI VOICEOVERS WERE NOT USED. ALL VOICELINES WERE RIPPED FROM OMD2 and OMD3.

Compatibility

Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same Venator asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.

Is it safe

It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.
