(FIXED!) Easter Egg Soul Bags — model replacement for Deadlock

This mod replaces the soul container with an easter egg. Instructions: Download ONLY ONE of the rar files and unzip the vpk file into Deadlock\game\citadel\addons Rename the file to pak28_dir.vpk (pick a different number if that one is taken) Remember to edit the gameinfo.gi file in your deadlock\game\citadel folder. Find "SearchPaths" in the file and replace it with this: { Mod citadel Write citadel Game citadel/addons Game citadel Game core }

Compatibility

Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.

Is it safe

It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.
