Feeder Feed — hud for Deadlock
Check out my Twitch . Support me on Ko-fi . What it does. Adds a FEEDER FEED tab next to DAMAGE in the damage report (scoreboard and death screen). It tallies every soul a hero's death handed to the other team, and who collected it. Both teams are tracked, so you also see which enemy is feeding you. TOP DONORS Souls each hero's deaths paid out, with their death count. Soul bags the other team stole from them, shown in a second color on the same bar. GRATEFUL RECIPIENTS Souls each hero got as the killer, as an assister and from comeback bonuses. share means comeback souls they got without assisting. Stolen soul bags they picked up. NPCs & mishaps collects deaths to troopers, guardians and other non-heroes. Assisters (split) holds assist souls when the assisting heroes could not be identified. How the split is worked out. The kill feed only shows the total souls of a kill. Feeder Feed splits that total the way the server does: the base bounty from the game clock, the first-kill bonus, the killer and assister shares, and the comeback bonus shared between the killer, the assisters and the rest of the killing team. When the clock and the top-bar souls cannot pin a kill down exactly (top-bar souls are rounded, like 9.8k), that split is an estimate and the footer says so. Donor totals come straight from the kill feed. Display Each list shows the top 3. Show more (N) opens the rest. Ro…
Compatibility
Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.
Is it safe
It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.

Frequently asked questions
How do I install Feeder Feed?▾▴
.vpk into game/citadel/addons and name it pak01_dir.vpk. That folder only loads once gameinfo.gi lists it, which is a one-time edit — check the install guide. Is Feeder Feed safe to install?▾▴
.vpk is a data archive, not a program, so it cannot execute code the way an installer can. The risk is provenance. This one has 60 installs, so a problem would have surfaced on its GameBanana thread. Mods with almost no downloads from accounts with no history have had none of that scrutiny. Will other players see this mod?▾▴
Can I run it alongside other mods?▾▴
pak01_dir.vpk and pak02_dir.vpk installed, pak01 wins and the other does nothing.Does it still work after the latest patch?▾▴
gameinfo.gi and remove your search paths, which stops every manually installed mod at once — redo that edit and they come back. Separately, model replacements break first when Valve edits a skeleton; recolours and HUD mods usually survive. The author posts updates on the GameBanana page.Where does the download come from?▾▴
How do I remove Feeder Feed?▾▴
.vpk from game/citadel/addons, or toggle it off in the Deadlock Mod Manager library. Mods never overwrite game files, so nothing needs repairing afterwards.
