Edits for Vessel Yamato — Yamato skins for Deadlock

This mod is intended to be used with Zaurin's Vessel Yamato skin mod and only: - Replaces ability icons. - Adds red and other SOUL color themed particles. - Replaces some voicelines and sound effects. - Adds Megalo Strike Back ultimate music and SOUL symbol during ultimate. - Replaces gloat portrait and icons. The goal of this mod was to make its features more themed around the Vessel and the SOUL/Player rather than The Roaring Knight. (If you are going to use this make sure to have it higher in priority than the original so it doesn't get overridden.). Ultimate music created by ScooteyBootey

Compatibility

Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same Yamato asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.

Is it safe

It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.

Two ways. With Deadlock Mod Manager, use the Mod Manager button on this page and it downloads and places the file for you. By hand, put the .vpk into game/citadel/addons and name it pak01_dir.vpk. That folder only loads once gameinfo.gi lists it, which is a one-time edit — check the install guide.
Is Edits for Vessel Yamato safe to install?▾

A Deadlock patch can overwrite gameinfo.gi and remove your search paths, which stops every manually installed mod at once — redo that edit and they come back.
