More doom content yeee! A small mod that replaces the spirit urn model - minimap icons - run and land sound effects with the funny blue screaming face, also known as megahealth or soul sphere. the normal version has the default music when you carry the urn. the other versions (with the music names in the zip file name) have custom music from non other than Andrew Hulshult remastered soundtrack! For reference in case you wanna search before installing (remember to search the hulshult version): 'light'/ambient music: -Waltz of the Demons (Doom) -The Healer Stalks (Doom II) 'heavy' music: -Donna to the rescue (Doom) -Bye Bye American Pie (Doom II) All music rights belong to Andrew Hulshult.

Compatibility

Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.

Is it safe

It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.

Two ways. With Deadlock Mod Manager, use the Mod Manager button on this page and it downloads and places the file for you. By hand, put the .vpk into game/citadel/addons and name it pak01_dir.vpk. That folder only loads once gameinfo.gi lists it, which is a one-time edit — check the install guide.
Is Doom SoulSphere Urn safe to install?▾

A Deadlock patch can overwrite gameinfo.gi and remove your search paths, which stops every manually installed mod at once — redo that edit and they come back.
