Deadlock Radio Play YouTube videos or your own music without leaving Deadlock. A complete audio player sits directly on your HUD, with album art, playback controls, combat volume ducking, and more. Features YouTube — Browse and play songs through the built-in browser. Music Folder — Play your own MP3s and other supported audio files. Combat Ducking — Automatically fades the music down when you enter combat, then fades it back up afterward. Quiet Mode — Click the album art to quickly lower the music to a specified volume. Alt-Tab Behavior — Choose whether music pauses, mutes, or continues playing when Deadlock loses focus. Customizable Settings — Adjust the player and audio behavior to your liking. Using Deadlock Radio YouTube Open the Browser tab and choose a song to play. Your Own Music Create a folder named: deadlockradio_music inside: Deadlock\game\citadel\addons Then put your music files inside it. MP3 is recommended. Sharing Enable Share Songs in the Sharing tab to see what other Deadlock Radio players in your match are listening to. Shared songs appear underneath players' heroes when you hold Tab . Click a song to play it. Only the song currently being played is shared. Sharing is off by default and must be enabled manually. Notes Spotify is not supported. Compatibility
Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.
Is it safe
It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.
