Catgirl Violet — Violet skins for Deadlock
Cat ears and a fluffy cat tail with a red bow for Violet. Comes in four versions, pick one. Versions (see the Files section below): - Default : two cat ears and the tail, her beret is removed. - Hat (the file marked "hat"): her beret stays on, tilted to her right like on the original model, one cat ear pokes out from under it on the other side, with the tail. - No tail : like Default (two ears, no beret), without the tail. - Hat, no tail : like Hat (beret on, one ear), without the tail. The comparison screenshot shows Default and Hat. Install only one of them: all of them replace the same model. Features : - Cat ears with soft fur inside, colour-matched to her hair and outfit. - Fluffy tail with a red bow. - Cloth physics on the whole tail, from the base to the tip, and on the ears: the ears bounce and bend above the hair, but stay out of her head (and out of the beret in the Hat versions). - Animations, abilities and everything else are untouched. 1.4 (Default and Hat): the whole tail is physical now, including its base, and the tip swings freely. Install : - Mod managers (Deadlock Mod Manager, Grimoire, HELLCAT): use the 1-click install button under the version you want. - Manual: put pak01_dir.vpk from the chosen zip into Deadlock/game/citadel/addons (rename the number if pak01 is already taken). Client-side only: only you see the skin. It may need an update after big game p…
Compatibility
Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same Violet asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.
Is it safe
It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.

Frequently asked questions
How do I install Catgirl Violet?▾▴
.vpk into game/citadel/addons and name it pak01_dir.vpk. That folder only loads once gameinfo.gi lists it, which is a one-time edit — check the install guide. Is Catgirl Violet safe to install?▾▴
.vpk is a data archive, not a program, so it cannot execute code the way an installer can. The risk is provenance. This one has 6,054 installs, so a problem would have surfaced on its GameBanana thread. Mods with almost no downloads from accounts with no history have had none of that scrutiny. Will other players see this skin?▾▴
Can I run it alongside other mods?▾▴
pak01_dir.vpk and pak02_dir.vpk installed, pak01 wins and the other does nothing.Does it still work after the latest patch?▾▴
gameinfo.gi and remove your search paths, which stops every manually installed mod at once — redo that edit and they come back. Separately, model replacements break first when Valve edits a skeleton; recolours and HUD mods usually survive. The author posts updates on the GameBanana page.Where does the download come from?▾▴
How do I remove Catgirl Violet?▾▴
.vpk from game/citadel/addons, or toggle it off in the Deadlock Mod Manager library. Mods never overwrite game files, so nothing needs repairing afterwards.
