A little improvements for Hatsune MikuCeleste skins for Deadlock

Real Mod: https://gamebanana.com/mods/655264 REMEMBER THIS IS JUST MODIFICATION OF OTHER MOD!!1!!!!!11! !!!1!1!! Update: I added my Miku VO mod to the file and i made a little bit changes like hero names and skill names, i tried to sneak some easter eggs. Im trying to make a Negi model for the stick but i don't know much about 3D modelling so it really hard for me model such a thing in a valve game, i hope you like it guys and THANKS FOR FUNNYMONKEYMAN I COULDN'T HAVE DONE THESE THINGS WITHOUT THIS MAN. Actually, Im not stealing or anything, i really appreciate the work of funnymonkeyman , legend Hatsune Miku mod for Celeste. I saw a little things and want to change them for real Miku experience in deadlock (like my Mike VO mod) and I want to share it with you guys. (funnymonkeyman you are the best man, I accidentally deleted the watermark in the background because it prevented me from matching compiled images idk why I'm so sorry man T^T) Installation: Extract to .vpk file into the modmanager, that's it! dont check hero lore ;)

Compatibility

Model replacements are the first thing to break when Valve edits a skeleton, so re-check after each patch. It conflicts with any other mod replacing the same Celeste asset — two in the addons folder means whichever loads last wins, and the other one silently does nothing.

Is it safe

It is client-side: the file lives on your machine and other players see the default game. Cosmetic addons have not produced bans, but Deadlock is in active development and nothing about mods is officially supported. Keep a copy of the folder before a patch and remove it if the game stops launching.

Frequently asked questions

How do I install A little improvements for Hatsune Miku?
Two ways. With Deadlock Mod Manager, use the Mod Manager button on this page and it downloads and places the file for you. By hand, put the .vpk into game/citadel/addons and name it pak01_dir.vpk. That folder only loads once gameinfo.gi lists it, which is a one-time edit — check the install guide.
Is A little improvements for Hatsune Miku safe to install?
A .vpk is a data archive, not a program, so it cannot execute code the way an installer can. The risk is provenance. This one has 3,821 installs, so a problem would have surfaced on its GameBanana thread. Mods with almost no downloads from accounts with no history have had none of that scrutiny.
Will other players see this skin?
No. Deadlock loads mods client-side, so the file only changes what you render. Everyone else sees the default game, in every mode including ranked.
Can I run it alongside other mods?
Yes, as long as they change different things — a skin and a HUD work together fine. Two skins for the same hero do not: only one can be applied, and Deadlock picks the lower-numbered file. With pak01_dir.vpk and pak02_dir.vpk installed, pak01 wins and the other does nothing.
Does it still work after the latest patch?
A Deadlock patch can overwrite gameinfo.gi and remove your search paths, which stops every manually installed mod at once — redo that edit and they come back. Separately, model replacements break first when Valve edits a skeleton; recolours and HUD mods usually survive. The author posts updates on the GameBanana page.
Where does the download come from?
Directly from the author's GameBanana page. deadlocktrade.gg indexes mods and links back; it never rehosts files, so you always get the release the author published.
How do I remove A little improvements for Hatsune Miku?
Delete its .vpk from game/citadel/addons, or toggle it off in the Deadlock Mod Manager library. Mods never overwrite game files, so nothing needs repairing afterwards.
